This is a partial listing of the personnel that served on board the Lloyd Thomas during its years of service in the US before being sold to Taiwan. The information has been taken from several different sources. The main enphases for this listing, at this time, is on the years 1947 through 1961. Hopefully I will get 1962 through Decom in the near future.

One of the main sources of information comes from the personnel rolls which are archived in the Archives located in College Point, MD.

A few points to make here:
The rolls did not list the officers with the enlisted members until 1957. This is why you will not fine many officers listed prior to 1957

The rolls did not list a full date (month,day,year) when a crew member reported on board until 1950 and after. When you observe a full date after a persons name, that is the month, day, year, he reported on board.

The lists had a lot of contraditory dates and I listed the earliest date I came across hoping the first date was typed in correctly

Due to the poor condition of some of the rolls some names have been left out because I could not read the name and did not pick up the name in the rolls of the following years.

If there is a year listed after the 1950 date and is not a full date, then there is a good possibilty that the name came from a cruise book or some other source and I failed to locate the name in the personnel rolls
